Day 01: Entry Beijing
Upon Arrival in Beijing, the local guide will meet you at the Beijing International Airport and accompany you to the hotel. The rest time is at your leisure to explore the beauty of Beijing.
Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the biggest public city square in the world and the must place to see in Beijing. Cross the gate of Tiananmen into the Forbidden City, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Then, visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest complex of ancient sacrificial building extant in China. Enjoy the famous Peking roast duck dinner in the evening.
Day 03: Beijing
Drive to the impressive Great Wall, which once stretched for 6,200 miles across northern China. Then, visit the Summer Palace, which was built in 1888 by the Empress Dowager Ci Xi, using funds originally intended for the Qing Imperial Navy. Here, there will be plenty of time for exploring the beautiful grounds. Cruise on the lovely Kunming Lake or wander through the royal gardens. Walk along the Painted Gallery, the longest covered walkway in China, decorated with exquisite landscape paintings.
Day 04: Beijing/ Xian
Explore the Houhai District of Beijing, a region of old courtyard homes and hutongs, alleys that border the tree-lined lakes north of the Forbidden City. Tour the district by pedicab to get a unique perspective on the traditional life that still exists today. Enjoy lunch at a Houhai resident's private home. Then, take high-speed train to the ancient Tang Dynasty capital – Xian. Enjoy a dumpling dinner, where more then 20 varieties of traditional dumplings will be served in the evening,
Day 05: Xian
The highlight of today’s tour is the Terracotta Warriors and the Bronze Chariots, designed for the tomb of China’s first emperor –Qinshihuang. Thousands of life size warriors and horses still stand on the original site in military formation of the emperor’s burial complex. Afterwards, explore the ancient City Wall, the best preserved oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China, and visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, first built in 652 in the Tang Dynasty and one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks. Watch the Tang Dynasty style dance show in the evening.
Day 06: Xian/Chongqing
Take morning flight to Chongqing and transfer to Dazu, known for its unspoiled Buddhist grotto carvings. See magnificent carvings on Baoding Hill, dating back over 800 years. Then drive back to Chongqing and board the deluxe cruise ship to begin the Yangtze cruise.
Day 07 – 08: Three Gorges and Yangtze River Cruise
Sail down the Yangtze River and marvel at China's greatest natural wonder, the extraordinary Three Gorges, The Boat takes you through the Qutang, Wu, and Xiling Gorges, each with majestic cliff walls and dramatic vistas that reveal themselves at each bend in this mighty river. Disembark daily to visit scenic areas, such as Shibaozhai or Fengdu Ghost City. Board smaller vessels for an exciting trip through the steep canyons of the Three Small Gorges, and see ancient hanging coffins in the cliffs and sail through the Three Gorges ship Locks.
Day 09: Three Gorges Dam Site / Mount Huangshan
Visit to the Three Gorges Dam site at Sandouping, the largest project of its kind in the world, in the morning. Arrive in Yichang at noon and disembark after lunch. Fly to Mount Huangshan via Shanghai and check in the Hotel. Mt. Huangshan ranks among china's best-known scenic spots. You may find all beauties of Nature in Mt. Huangshan. But its charm lies especially in its odd-shaped pines, fantastic rocks, the sea of clouds and hot springs - the four supreme sights on the mountain.
Day 10: Huangshan
Take bus to Yixian County to visit the Ancient Residences of Hongcun Village and Xidi Village, both are the World Cultural Heritage and also a place where the movie "Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon" was shot. Wander the lanes of these authentic Ming and Qing dynasty villages. Taste a traditional lunch of Anhui flavor at a courtyard home. Then back to Huangshan city.
Day 11: Mount Huangshan
Travel to Mount Huangshan by a motor coach in the morning. The staggering beauty of granite precipices emerging from fog-banks has intoxicated Chinese artists for centuries. Take a cable car to the summit of the mountain, check into the West Sea Hotel. Then, choose between short strolls on nearby paths or longer hikes along the summit ridge to explore the beauty of Mount Huangshan. This is a great time to sit at the edge of thousand foot cliffs and absorb nature at its most sublime.
Day 12: Huangshan/ Shanghai
This morning is free to continue exploring the mountain’s beauty. Then take the cable car or walk down the mountain and transfer to the Huangshan Airport. Fly to Shanghai and check in the hotel.
Day 13: Shanghai
Explore delightful Yuyuan Garden, built in 1577 and featuring a magnificent zigzag bridge. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which houses two rare statues of the Buddha, and explore the Shanghai Museum, with its world-class art collection, walk along the famous Bund. Enjoy an amazing acrobatic show in the evening.
Day 14: Departure
Transfer to the Pudong International Airport and take the flight to your next destination.
