Appalachian State University China Study Tour Program     

         This study abroad program is led by Dr. Wendy Xie, Assistant Professor of Chinese, Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures, Appalachian State University. Dr. Xie has led a study abroad trip to China for several times. This is her second trip to China working with Education Abroad China.

- Bus ride to Suzhou:
-Tiger Hill is the most famous sight in Suzhou, with old trees and cultural relics everywhere- such as the Sword Testing Stone, the Broken Beam Hall, the Thousand Men Rock and the Sword Pond.
- Humble Administrator's Garden, is the best representative of Chinese classical gardens from the Ming dynasty. Focused on a central pond with pavilions, terraces, chambers, and towers located nearby.
- Night show at Garden of the Master of the Nets, considered a masterpiece in design, is a combined Qing Dynasty residence and garden. (B, L)
